2014 Hall of Fame Inductees

Kandy (Beemer) Thomas - Basketball 

Kandy was a member of Jefferson College's 2006-2007 Women's
Basketball team, which had a record of 31-5 and advanced to the
NJCAA National Tournament. Kandy led the nation at all collegiate
levels (NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA) in 3-point percentage shots
(51.46%). In her 2 years at Jefferson, Kandy scored 790 points
and averaged 12.09 points per game. She was a great ball player,
and displayed an impressive commitment to her team.




Jay Marshall - Baseball

Jay pitched for Jefferson College in 2002 and 2003. Jay received
All-Conference, All-Region and All-District awards and helped
lead Jefferson College to its first ever NJCAA World Series
appearance in 2002.  Jay was drafted by the Chicago White Sox
in the 25th Round of 2002 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft
and pitched professionally for 9 seasons. Jay made his Major
League Debut in 2007 with the Oakland Athletics.
