Basketball Coaching Staff

Ashley McGee
Head Coach

Ashley McGee served as the women’s basketball assistant coach at Iowa Western Community College since 2015, where she also taught Coaching Theory I and II. During her tenure, Iowa Western had a 77 percent win record, had been ranked nationally, and qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament in 2016-17. 

In addition to her experience at Iowa Western, McGee was the women’s basketball graduate assistant at Cardinal Stritch University from 2013-15, head coach for Rising Force girls AAU from 2013-15, and volunteer assistant coach at Pius XI High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2012.

McGee holds a Master of Science degree in Sports Management from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Johnson C. Smith University.

Jillian (Lipman) Segura
Assistant Coach

Jill Lipman opened her coaching career as an Assistant Girls Varsity and Head Freshman Coach at Hinsdale South High School. 
In 2015, Jill took a new direction in coaching and joined the Carroll University (Waukesha, WI) coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant, pursing a Master’s in Business Administration. While at Carroll, Lipman assisted under Head Coach, Kris Jacobsen (2015-16) and Head Coach Lindsay Schultz (2016-17) as the university made the jump from the Midwest College Conference to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. During her time Jill assisted in coaching Third-Team Academic All-American Midwest Conference, CoSIDA All- District, Josten’s Trophy finalist, Mallory Christenson 16’ and Brittney Wald 18’ Second Team CCIW All- Conference Team.   

Lipman, a Chicago native, resides in St. Louis with her husband Michael.
